A Newtown house that earned a regional Master Builders gong for builder Cameron Henderson has found a buyer after three months on the market.
The renovation added an element of surprise to the triple-fronted clinker brick house at 77 Nicholas St in a dramatic rear extension where a vast open-plan living zone, with exposed steel beams and modern skylights, makes a sharp detour from the character of the original post war house.

Mr Bywater said while refreshing the campaign brought the property to a whole new collection of possible buyers, part of the sale was about buyers getting their ducks in a row to make the purchase.
Henderson accepted plaudits from the Master Builders Association for the region’s best renovation over $500,000 in 2015.
Henderson, and son Taylor, rose to fame in the 2010 season of Australia’s Got Talent.
